Booking T&Cs

Please note that we operate two cancellation policies: a flexible rate with a 5 day cancellation policy, and a non-refundable option.

Flexible terms: payment card details will be required to secure a booking. You may cancel or amend a reservation up to 5 days prior to arrival free of charge. If you choose to cancel or change a reservation within 5 days of arrival, the full cost of the stay will be incurred. Please note that our rates change daily, and as such any changes to your booking will reflect this. You will be required to provide a credit card pre-authorisation for the full amount of your stay on check in, with the final payment settled on checking out.

Non-refundable terms: full payment will be due to secure a booking. Cancellations will result in the full deposit being retained, and no changes to the reservation will be permitted.

Provisional bookings are not accepted under any circumstances.

Please note, The Black Swan Hotel, Helmsley does not accept liability for any failure to provide services contracted, due to circumstances beyond our control. This includes postal communication, industrial action, plant failure, supply of utilities (gas, electricity and water) or fire alarm evacuation.
