On Sunday 28th June 2015 we’re delighted to open our doors as we host another Wedding Open Day.
Throughout the day our team will be on hand to show you around the hotel and to explain the facilities that we have to offer. The Garden Room and The Gallery will both be set up for weddings, showcasing the Garden Room to accommodate up to 50 guests, and The Gallery for up to 90 guests.
We’re also delighted to welcome a select team of suppliers who will be here on the day, including photographers, hair and make-up artist, wedding dress supplier, musicians, florist, wedding cake supplier, jeweller, and wedding cars.
Our wedding open day will take place between 12 noon and 4pm. There’ll also be the chance to sample some of the wines and canapes which are included within our wedding packages.
If you’re unable to join us on the 28th June, we’ll also be holding another Open Day on Sunday 1st November 2015.

The Bridal Lounge, Northallerton opened its doors in May 1999 and is the sister shop to Brides of York which has been successfully operating since 1964.
You are guaranteed a one to one service at The Bridal Lounge, whereby you will be given a private fitting room with one of the sales team who all have 20 years experience in the bridal industry, and if required, they will make suggestions of styles for you to try.
The carefully selected collection of gowns they hold include styles by Alfred Angelo, Romantica of Devon, White Rose Bridal and White Rose Plus, Cymbeline of Paris, Augusta Jones and Alan Hannah. They also have a collection of adult maid gowns and accessories.

The Yorkshire Chauffer Company can be used for the Bride and /or Groom, Bridesmaids, family or friends, and are perfect throughout the year – ideal for country and winter weddings. As their vehicles are licensed through the local authority they can offer a bespoke chauffeuring service throughout the day. This service is especially popular at the end of the evening to transfer Bride and Groom and/or guests back to local accommodation.
Busy Liz’s is a Yorkshire-based floral design company comprising mother and daughter duo Maureen Elizabeth and Liz Wood. Their passion makes them different, together with their painstaking attention to detail and care in their work.

Celebrate Country Cake Design is based in the picturesque market town of Helmsley close to the sweeping moorlands of North Yorkshire. The business was established in 2008 by Rhian Crusher, a professional baker with more than 20 years experience in baking and decorating cakes, and whose inspiration and expertise has led to them getting the accolade of being the leading Wedding Cake maker in the area.

David is an international award winning pianist, songwriter & composer who plays professionally at restaurants, recording studios, hotels and some of the most prestigious venues throughout the UK. Emma Dodsworth is a local, innovative photographer who is carefully and unobtrusively able to capture the moment of your special day. Her friendly and personal manner enables her to capture emotions and feelings which are then re-created onto paper showing the intensity and beauty of your wedding day.
Emma works using a mixture of reportage/documentary and formal photographs, your personal taste and requirements will decide the ratio of this.
Kate Pymm is a professional make-up artist and hair stylist, who has over 8 years experience in the cosmetics industry and holds qualifications in Cosmetic Make-Up, Beauty NVQ, Bridal Hair Styling, and Theatrical and Media Make-Up.
Kate travels the whole of the UK not only for bridal styling but also as a creative practitioner, a make-up artist/stylist for fashion events, photo shoots, editorial, film and media.
For bridal styling Kate will travel to your preferred preparation address whether it’s at your own home or at the hotel. Kate has also recently taken on a couple of make-up artists who work under the Kate Pymm Make-Up standards who she has personally trained and groomed, so in busier times they’re available if Kate herself isn’t.
Carolyn and Andy took over Libby Butler Jewellers in June 2009 and have built an excellent reputation with both locals and visitors to Helmsley. You are sure to find something you like here, as they have a wide range of styles for everyone from traditional to contemporary, whether you are shopping on a budget or blowing the budget!
You will always find something new and different here, they choose all their jewellery personally from the makers or designers both in the UK and internationally, with a focus on quality and design, and firmly believe that jewellery needs to be practical and affordable as well as beautiful.

Val Boyers is a singer based in the Tees Valley region of the North East, UK.
She plays acoustic guitar & enjoys singing covers of well known songs – both old & new! Her style is perfect for creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere, whether it be for your civil ceremony, drinks reception, or informal after dinner entertainment.
Noble Fine Art are specialist printers, using traditional methods to create exquisite Wedding Stationery, Social and Business Stationery. All of their bespoke stationery design and letterpress printing is undertaken in their North Yorkshire studio where our emphasis is on traditional hand crafted work.

Annemarie King is an award-winning photographer from York. Annemarie won both BIPP Yorkshire Traditional Wedding Photographer of the Year 2011 and BIPP Yorkshire Contemporary Wedding Photographer of the Year 2011.
Annemarie specialises in shooting country style weddings, making simple, uncluttered images with a sense of light, colour, environment and emotion. She loves big skies, whether stormy-cloud-grey or ‘lonely as a cloud’ bright blue and sunny. Her pictures show couples experiencing their wedding day with laughter and joy. Sometimes, her pictures show a quiet or contemplative romantic moment.
