With our enviable location on the edge of the North York Moors, The Black Swan is located in prime position for some of the best grouse, pheasant and partridge shooting in the UK. This dinner celebrates the fabulous selection of game which is available on our doorstep.
The wines for this dinner will be paired by Louis Latour. Louis Latour’s exceptional domaine covers 50 hectares and includes the largest collection of Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy. A négociant-éleveur with soul, the house is still independent and managed by the founding family, headed up by Louis-Fabrice Latour who is the seventh Louis and the 11th generation of the Latour family to lead the company.

Our gourmet evenings are convivial events with guests seated at mixed tables for dinner. For guests wishing to stay at the hotel, we are delighted to offer a preferential rate of £129 per room, per night for our Classic rooms on a Bed and Breakfast basis.

T&C’s: Please note that guests will be seated at mixed tables for all of our gourmet dinners. Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking for the events. For guests choosing to stay at the hotel on the evening of one of our gourmet events, a preferential rate of £129 per room, per night is available which includes Bed & Breakfast and is based on two people sharing a Classic double or twin room. Feature rooms and Superior rooms are available at a supplement of £45 per room, per night. A deposit of £50 per room, per night is required for accommodation bookings, which is non-refundable, and the balance for accommodation stays should be settled on departure from the hotel. Please note that slight variations to the menus and wines may occur. If you or any of the guests in your party have any dietary requirements or allergies, please inform us at the time of booking. We will endeavour to accommodate dietary requirements.
