Two night New Year package
Monday 30th December 2008
Arrive at your leisure throughout the afternoon. Once you have had time to settle in your room, enjoy full afternoon tea including a selection of sandwiches, homemade scones and a variety of patisserie, in front of one of our roaring logs fires in our lounges.
A candlelit dinner, will be served from 7.00pm in the Rutland & Buckingham Restaurants, followed by an evening of Jazz by the Hot Club Jazz Quartet in our new hotel bar & lounges.
New Years Eve – Tuesday 31st December 2008
A full English breakfast will be the perfect way to start your day served from 8.00am – 10.00am in the Rutland & Buckingham Restaurants.
After breakfast the day is yours. With York, the Moors and many other attractions on your doorstep, why not take this opportunity to enjoy the last day of the year. However, if you don’t feel like venturing out, we will be happy to look after you while you relax in one of the lounges or take lunch in the tearoom.
From 7pm onwards we invite you to join us for a champagne and canapés drinks reception hosted by General Manager, Simon Murphy, to mark the start of the evening entertainment.
A five-course dinner by Head Chef Andrew Burton, will be served from 7.30pm onwards in the Rutland Restaurant. To help create the party atmosphere we invite you to join your fellow guests on tables of 10 for this fabulous gala dinner.
After dinner, the hotel will come to life with our dinner dance band, Spectrum, playing a variety of music to get the party well and truly started, continuing into the wee small hours. (Optional black tie)
New Years Day – Wednesday 1st January 2009
Brunch will be served from 9.00am – 12 noon in the Rutland & Buckingham Restaurants. Following brunch, it will be time for us to say our goodbyes until hopefully later in the year.
Two night New Year package - £375.00 per person, based on double occupancy of a double/twin bedded room. Single occupancy rate £425.00 per person.
