The Castle Museum brings over 400 years of history back to life in its award winning exhibitions and displays. You'll discover a unique combination of everyday life and extraordinary objects. York Minster is one of the largest Cathedrals in Northern Europe. It was built between 1220 and 1472 and is in the Gothic style with tall arched windows and many intricate carvings.
