The Black Swan has two car parks available to our guests.
The main hotel car park is located at the back of the hotel. To access the car park, guests need to drive up the lane located on the right hand side of the hotel. When you reach the back of the hotel there is a large car park on the left hand side. This car park belongs to the hotel and is reserved for guests of the Black Swan only. You do not require a permit to park in this car park.
We also have use of the smaller car park located directly at the front of the hotel. Please note that this car park does not belong to the Black Swan, it belongs to North Yorkshire County Council. We do have have a generous understanding with North Yorkshire County Council which allows our guests to park in this car park when staying or visiting the Black Swan. Please be aware that if you do park in this car park you are required to collect a permit from reception and display this on the dash board of your car. This permit will then allow you to park in this car park during your stay.
NOTE: Please note that our parking permits ONLY permit you to park in the car park directly at the front of the hotel. Parking in the market place is not covered by this permit. If you do park in the market place you will be given a parking ticket - this is a pay and display car park.
