Showing consistent excellence, the charming tearooms at The Black Swan Hotel in Helmsley, North Yorkshire, have again won an “Award of Excellence” from The Tea Guild.
This iconic coaching inn has been among the cream of UK tearooms for five consecutive years now, having won an ‘Award of Excellence’ in 2009, ‘Top Tea Place’ in 2010 and then the ‘Award of Excellence’ in 2011, 2012 and now 2013.
The ‘Award of Excellence’ is a coveted badge of honour, seen as the ‘Michelin star’ of the tea world, placing the Tearoom as one of the best places in the UK for a quintessentially English “Afternoon Tea” and the only one in the North East & Yorkshire region.
On behalf of all the team at The Black Swan, we’re absolutely delighted to have received this recognition once again, and we would like to pass on our congratulations to Alison Souter, Tearoom Manager, and the rest of her team on their achievements. Well done everyone!
