Duncombe Park is one of Yorkshire’s foremost historic houses and estates, and the only stately home in the North York Moors National Park. 60 years a school, now restored to a magnificent family home by Lord and Lady Feversham. The original 18thC house was remodelled after a serious fire in the late 19thC and is now home to the Duncombe family.
The house closed to the public in 2011, but the spectacular 18thC landscape garden, surrounding 400 acre parkland and nature reserve are open to visitors, as is the Fountain Tearoom at the Parkland Centre.
